As a former teacher, Bridget Quisiguina, created We Walk New York Tours with the idea of being able to teach both natives and visitors alike some cool and new things about New York. After 14 years in the classroom, Bridget decided to take her passion for history to the streets.

As a lifelong learner and avid storyteller, Bridget enjoys bringing to life the many secrets and hidden treasures that this city has to offer for all those who take the time to look. Sometimes the surprises are hidden in plain sight, either right before our eyes or just below our feet. Other times, it helps to have a knowing eye to show you just where to look!

As a Brooklyn native, Bridget has enjoyed exploring the city from the time she was old enough to walk. She seems to be on a never-ending quest to discover all there is to know about the New York that her family has called home for 13 generations. Her love of human interest stories and intrigue lend a fascinating dynamic to her tours.

When asked about the best part of her job, Bridget replied, "When a lifelong New Yorker joins one of my tours, they sometimes think there's nothing new under the sun. But then I show them something surprising and new, and they respond, 'No way! I never noticed that before!' That's when I know I am doing something right!"

In the end, always remember: Walk New York, Love New York.
